Kathryn &
reproduction silk "ensemble" dress on dress form (can be
worn as an evening or day dress) made by Kay Gnagey. The
dress she's wearing was made by Robin Stokes.

Kathryn
brought an exhibit of original period clothing & good
quality modern reproductions.

The quilt on the left is the current AGSAS
quilt project, copy of an 1857 applique quilt from the
Shenandoah Valley, the original of which is at Belle Grove.
The quilt on the right is an 1850s original from Kathryn's
collection

Faith Hintzen
brought a display on period sewing and the work of Soldiers
Aid Societies, including a period Willcox & Gibbs sewing
machine.
